Victorian Fares and Ticketing Manual

Victorian Fares and Ticketing Manual (myki)

The Victorian Fares and Ticketing Manual (myki) can be downloaded free of charge below or purchased for $5 at the PTV Hub at Southern Cross Station (near the corner of Spencer and Collins streets).

myki is Melbourne’s new ticketing system and also operates on regional bus services in Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Seymour, Warragul and the Latrobe Valley. myki is also valid for travel on V/Line rail services operating wholly within the Geelong (between Lara and Marshall), Bendigo (between Eaglehawk and Kangaroo Flat) and Ballarat (between Wendoree and Ballarat) transit systems.

myki will progressively be rolled out on V/Line train services from Melbourne to cities within the V/Line commuter belt including Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and the Latrobe Valley (Traralgon, Morwell, Moe). Keep visiting this website for updates.

This manual provides information on fares, conditions of travel and how to use and manage your myki.

Victorian Fares and Ticketing Manual (General)

The Victorian Fares and Ticketing Manual (General) contains ticketing information for public transport services in Victoria including V/Line and regional bus travel. It can be downloaded free of charge below or purchased for $5 at the PTV Hub at Southern Cross Station (near the corner of Spencer and Collins streets).

This manual provides detailed information for both customers and staff. Most customer questions in relation to V/Line tickets, including prices, can be answered by viewing the V/Line travel section.

This Victorian Fares and Ticketing Manual (General) is effective from 1 January 2013.
