Doncaster Park and Ride timetable changes and facility closure for upgrades
From 12 January 2025, there will be timetable changes to bus routes 200, 207, 280, 282, 284, 285, 303, 318, 905, 906, 907 and 908. Works are starting to upgrade Doncaster Park and Ride.
Buses will continue to run. Some will use temporary accessible bus stops on Doncaster Road, about 250 metres away from the Doncaster Park and Ride site. These routes are:
- 207: City - Doncaster Shopping Centre via Kew Junction
- 284: Doncaster Park and Ride - Box Hill via Union Road
- 285: Doncaster Park and Ride - Camberwell via North Balwyn
- 907: City - Mitcham via Eastern Fwy and Doncaster Rd
- 908 (off peak): City - The Pines SC via Eastern Fwy and High St
- Existing school special services
Routes 280, 282, 303, and 908 (peak) will not operate from the new temporary bus stops.

Additional services
More weekend trips will be added to routes 284, 285, 905 and 907’s timetables from 12 January 2025.
Both routes 284 and 285 will have two extra trips in the morning on Saturdays and will now run on Sundays with 24 extra trips on each route.
Route 905 will have 55 extra trips on Saturdays and 50 extra trips on Sundays. The extra trips mean Route 905 will run every 15 minutes for most of the day on weekends.
Route 907 will have 13 extra trips on Saturdays and four extra trips on Sundays. The extra trips on Route 907 have been added to improve frequency in the mornings and evenings so the bus will run every 15 minutes for more of the day.
The new Doncaster Park and Ride facility is being built as part of the North East Link Project. It is due to be complete in 2028.

Route 200 – City to Bulleen via Kew Junction
Route 200 has a minor timetable change.
Route 207 – City to Doncaster Shopping Centre
Route 207 has a timetable change. Route 207’s day services will remain the same. The night bus will finish at Doncaster Shopping Centre instead of Box Hill Station.
Route 280 – Manningham Loop via Tunstall Square SC & Doncaster SC
Route 280 has a timetable change, with weekday services running every 60 minutes.
Route 282 – Manningham Loop via Templestowe Village SC & Doncaster SC
Route 282 has a timetable change, with weekday services running every 60 minutes.
Route 284 – Doncaster Park and Ride to Box Hill
Route 284 has a timetable change. Two services will be added to the Saturday morning timetable, and 24 added to the Sunday timetable.
Route 285 – Doncaster Park and Ride to Camberwell
Route 285 has a timetable change. Two services will be added to the Saturday morning timetable, and 24 services added to the Sunday timetable.
Route 303 – City to Ringwood North (peak only)
Route 303 has a minor timetable change.
Route 318 – City Deep Creek (peak only)
Route 318 has a minor timetable change.
Route 905 – SmartBus Route 905 – City to The Pines SC via Eastern Fwy and Thompsons Rd
Route 905 has a timetable change. The Saturday frequency has increased to every 15 minutes from 7:30am to 9pm. The Saturday frequency outside this window remains the same.
The Sunday frequency has increased to every 15 minutes from 8am to 8pm. The Sunday frequency outside this window remains the same.
SmartBus Route 906 – City to Warrandyte
Route 906 has a minor timetable change.
SmartBus Route 907 – City to Mitcham
Saturday morning trips between 7am and 8.30am have a frequency increase to every 15 mins.
Saturday evening trips between 7pm and 9pm have a frequency increase to every 15 minutes. This extends the 15-minute frequency from 7am to 9pm on Saturdays.
Sunday morning trips between 7:30am and 8:30am have a frequency increase to every 15 minutes. Sunday evening trips from 6pm to 8pm have a frequency increase to every 15 minutes. This extends the 15-minute frequency from 7:30am to 8pm on Sunday.
Smartbus Route 908 – City to The Pines SC
Route 908 has a minor timetable change.
