Timetable changes on the Shepparton Line
Timetable changes on the Shepparton Line
What’s changing on the Shepparton Line?
- From Sunday 23 October 2022, a new timetable will be introduced on the Shepparton Line thanks to the Shepparton Corridor Upgrade Stage 2.
- Due to flood conditions, coaches will replace trains. When train services resume, all services will operate with VLocity trains that provide a greater level of comfort.
- VLocity services will operate as a combination of three and six carriage trains.
- There will be additional stops introduced on some services.
- The Heathcote Junction stop will be removed from the 5:12am weekday service from Shepparton to Southern Cross Station as the platform is not big enough to accommodate a six-car VLocity train.
- The 5:55am service from Southern Cross Station to Shepparton will have a 17-minute layover in Seymour to accommodate a freight service.
