Care Expo Melbourne is proud to showcase the latest in innovation, products and services for healthcare, seniors, disability care, aged care, support, and wellness. No matter your walk of life or experience, Care Expo Melbourne celebrates YOU and links you to experts who can tailor to your needs, or the needs of your loved ones or clients.

Extra public transport services are running to and from Melbourne Showgrounds on Friday 30 August and Saturday 31 August 2024.

Getting to the Showgrounds

Train services will depart from Flinders Street Station (Platform 8 / 9), between 08 52am and 3:18pm inclusive, stopping only at Southern Cross (Platform 14), North Melbourne (Platform 6), en route to the Showgrounds (Platform 1)

  • Between 8:52am and 3:18pm every 30 – 35 minutes

Leaving the Showgrounds

Trains returning to Flinders Street from Showground will stop only at North Melbourne (Platform 5), and Southern Cross (Platform 13) en route to Flinders Street (Platform 8 / 9):

  • Between 9:27am and 4:00pm every 30-35 minutes

Last train to depart Showgrounds Station is at 4:00pm

Getting to and from the Melbourne Showgrounds

Passengers can catch a Route 57 tram, alighting at Stop 32 Sandown Road/Epsom Road.

The following bus route travels close to the Racecourse:

  • Route 404 (please note service may finish prior to the end of the music festival)

Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Showgrounds service.

Passengers are advised to catch any train from Melbourne Showgrounds and alight at Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations and change to a regional train.

Getting to the Showgrounds

Special trains for Showgrounds will depart from Southern Cross Station (Platform 8), stopping only at North Melbourne (Platform 2), en route to Showgrounds (Platform 1).

The first train will depart Southern Cross Station:

  • Between 8:48am until 3:48pm every 30-35 minutes

Leaving the Showgrounds

Trains returning to Southern Cross from Showgrounds will stop at North Melbourne (Platform 1), en route to Southern Cross (Platform 8) between:

  • 9:11am until 4:05pm every 30-35 minutes

The last train will depart Showgrounds at 4:05pm
