The event runs:

Friday 25 October

 Metropolitan train

To the Racecourse

Catch a Craigieburn Line train to Newmarket Station then change to a Route 57 tram to get to Flemington Racecourse.

From the Racecourse

First train leaves at 8:45pm.

Trains leave:

• Every 30 minutes from 9pm until 10pm.
• Every 10 minutes from 10pm until 11pm.

Last train leaves at 11pm.

Trains run express from Flemington Racecourse Station to North Melbourne Station then to Flinders Street Station.

Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse

Extra Route 57 trams run between Stop 1 Flinders Street and Stop 32 Sandown Road/Epsom Road via Flemington Road.

 Regional train

Getting to Flemington Racecourse

Catch a train from North Melbourne or Southern Cross stations for Craigieburn trains to Newmarket Station.

From Flemington Racecourse

Catch a train from Flemington Racecourse to North Melbourne or Southern Cross stations for regional trains.

Saturday 26 October

 Metropolitan train

To the Racecourse

Trains leave:

• Every 20 minutes from 3:45pm until 6:05pm

Last train leaves at 6:05pm

Trains stop at the Showgrounds until 5pm for passengers travelling to and from the Dog & Cat Lovers Show. 

Trains run from Flinders Street Station (Platform 9), stopping at Southern Cross (Platforms 13/14) and North Melbourne (Platforms 5/6) stations, then express to the Showgrounds and Flemington Racecourse.

From the Racecourse

First train leaves at 8:45pm.

Trains leave:

• Every 30 minutes from 9pm until 10pm.
• Every 10 minutes from 10pm until 11pm.

Last train leaves at 11pm.
