We're running extra services for the Dog & Cat Lover’s Festival at the Melbourne Showgrounds on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October.

The event runs:

• Saturday 26 October: 9.30am to 5pm

• Sunday 27 October: 9.30am to 5pm

Saturday 26 October

 Metropolitan train

Getting to and from Melbourne Showgrounds

Trains run express from Flinders Street Station (Platform 9), stopping at Southern Cross (Platforms 13/14) and North Melbourne (Platforms 5/6) stations, then express to Melbourne Showgrounds and Flemington Racecourse.

Trains leave:

• Every 20 minutes from 8:25am until 9:05am
• Every 40 minutes from 9:05am until 3:45pm
• Every 20 minutes from 3:45pm until 5:50pm (Trains will extend to Flemington Racecourse Station)

Last train leaves Showgrounds station at 5:50pm.

Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse

Extra Route 57 trams run between Stop 1 Flinders Street and Stop 32 Sandown Road/Epsom Road via Flemington Road.

 Regional train

Getting to Melbourne Showgrounds

Catch a train from North Melbourne or Southern Cross stations for trains to Melbourne Showgrounds.

From Melbourne Showgrounds

Catch a train from Melbourne Showgrounds to North Melbourne or Southern Cross stations for regional trains.

Getting to and from Melbourne Showgrounds
