Public transport for Anyma Presents Genesys: Saturday 23 November 2024

Anyma will make his Australian debut bringing his acclaimed audiovisual show ‘Genesys’ to Melbourne at the Flemington Racecourse! Public transport is your best way to enjoy it, with extra services to help you get to and from the Flemington Racecourse on Saturday 23 November.

The event will run:

  • Saturday 23 November: 1pm to 11pm

Getting to Flemington Racecourse

Trains will operate from Flinders Street (Platform 10), stopping at Southern Cross (Platforms 13 / 14) and North Melbourne (Platforms 5 / 6), then express to Flemington Racecourse (Platforms 1 / 2).

  • From 12:40pm until 1:40pm, services will depart every 10 minutes.
  • From 1:40pm until 4pm, services will depart every 20 minutes.

From 12:40pm until 4pm, services will return to Flinders Street express with passengers.

The final service from Flinders Street will depart at 4pm.

Leaving from Flemington Racecourse

Train will operate from Flemington Racecourse (Platforms 1/ 2), stopping only at North Melbourne (PL 5) and Southern Cross (PL 13), en route to Flinders Street (PL 10).

  • From 9pm until 10pm, services will depart from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1) to Flinders Street every 20 minutes.
  • From 10pm until 11pm, services will depart from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1) to Flinders Street every 10 minutes.
  • From 11pm until 12:10am, services will depart from Flemington Racecourse (Platforms 1 / 2) to Flinders Street every 7 to 8 minutes.

The final service from Flemington Racecourse will depart at 12:10am from (Platform 2).

Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse

Passengers can catch a Route 57 tram, alighting at Stop 29 Racecourse Road/Flemington Racecourse.

The following bus route travels close to the Racecourse:

  • Route 404 (please note service may finish prior to the end of the raceday)

Getting to Flemington Racecourse  

Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Flemington Racecourse service.

Leaving Flemington Racecourse  

Passengers are advised to catch any train from Flemington Racecourse and alight at Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations and change to a regional train.
