We’re currently testing Melbourne’s new X’Trapolis 2.0 trains, ensuring passenger safety and reliability before these trains join the network.
During testing, buses will replace trains on sections of the Werribee and Williamstown lines.
We know these disruptions are inconvenient, so we’re conducting testing at night. We’re running a range of bus services to reduce the impact on your journey and help you get where you need as quickly as possible.

Station car park closures and on-street parking changes may be required at times to make room for buses replacing trains. Access to station precincts and shared use paths will remain available at all times for pedestrians.
For the safety and comfort of all passengers, there are restrictions on what you may take with you on buses.

Wheelchair Accessible Taxis are available and most train replacement buses will be low-floor models to assist passengers. Please speak to the customer service staff at your replacement bus stop or station staff. You can also contact PTV prior to your travel on 1800 800 007.
