Bus and coach timetable changes to better connect with regional trains

From 13 April 2025, there will be new bus and coach timetables to better connect with new train timetables on the Ballarat and Warrnambool lines. On weekends, 662 extra one-way bus trips will be added along the Ballarat Line.

Bus changes

Timetables for routes 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30 and 31 will be available on the PTV app and journey planner from late March 2025.

  • Timetable change to match the new Warrnambool Line train timetable, connecting with trains at Camperdown Station

  • There will be timetable changes for coach services that connect to trains on the Warrnambool Line.
  • Passengers should check their timetable before they travel.

Ararat Line coaches
  • There will be timetable changes for coach services that connect to trains on the Ararat Line.
  • Passengers should check their timetable before they travel.

 Albury Line coaches
  • There will be timetable changes for coach services that connect to trains on the Albury Line.
  • Passengers should check their timetable before they travel.

Ouyen to Ballarat coach
  • The current 6:25 am Sunday coach from Ouyen will end at Ararat instead of Ballarat.
  • Passengers wishing to travel through to Ballarat will need to change to a train service at Ararat Station.
  • The 6:25am Sunday coach arrives at Ararat Station at 10:45 am. A train service to Ballarat departs Ararat Station at 10:57 am.
  • Passengers will have 12 minutes to transfer between these two services.
  • This change removes duplication between coach and train services.
