Changes to bus routes 200, 305, 309 and 905

From 30 April 2023, there will be changes to bus routes 200, 305, 309 and 905 due to the opening of Bulleen Park and Ride.

Route 200 City - Bulleen

  • Route 200 will have a stop change along Thompsons Road adjacent to Bulleen Park and Ride in order to pick up and drop of passengers.
  • Route 200 will have a minor timetable change.
  • Route 200 will not use Bulleen Park and Ride as it does not operate via the Eastern Freeway.

Route 305 – The Pines Shopping Centre via Eastern Freeway and George Street

  • Route 305 weekday peak trips (The Pines Shopping Centre to City) will have a minor route realignment to access Bulleen Park and Ride from Thompsons Road.
  • There will be a new timetable for Route 305 peak trips.
  • The off-peak route alignment (The Pines SC to Doncaster Shopping Centre) won’t change, terminating at Doncaster Shopping Centre.​

Route 309 City – The Pines Shopping Centre via Eastern Freeway and Reynolds Road

  • Route 309 will be realigned via Thompsons Road to access Bulleen Park and Ride.
  • Route 309 will be removed from its current alignment on High Street and no longer serve Doncaster Park and Ride and will instead be realigned via Thompsons Road to access Bulleen Park and Ride.
  • The existing peak only extension on Route 309 from The Pines Shopping Centre to the intersection of Springvale and Mitcham roads in Donvale will be removed.
  • Route 309 will operate at peak times between the Pines Shopping centre and CBD via Bulleen Park and Ride. Interpeak (middle of the day) trips will be reduced.
  • Route 309 will have a new timetable.

Route 905 City – The Pines Shopping Centre via Eastern Freeway and Thompsons Road

  • Route 905 will have a minor route realignment to access Bulleen Park and Ride from Thompsons Road.
  • There will be a new timetable for Route 905.
  • There will be no changes to the night network service levels of Route 905.
