New bus interchange for Greensborough Station

A new bus interchange has opened at Para Road and Flintoff Street, providing a safe and easy way to connect between trains and buses at Greensborough Station.

Passengers travelling on routes 293 (to Greensborough), 343, 385, 518, 566 (to Lalor) and 902 (to Airport West SC) can now use the new interchange.

Passengers travelling on routes 566 (to Northland SC) 901 and 902 (to Chelsea Station) can access these services via the pair of bus stops located outside the interchange on Para Road, while passengers for Route 293 (to Box Hill) can access this service from the bus stop on Flintoff Street.

From 19 January 2025 there will be more changes, including:

• extra evening services Monday to Saturday on routes 517, 518 and 566
• timetable changes on routes 385, 388, 389, 517, 518, and 566.

The new bus interchange is being delivered by the Level Crossing Removal Project as part of the Car Parks for Commuters program and includes 100 new car spaces, making it easier to catch trains or buses at Greensborough Station.
