On-demand bus service FlexiRide expands to Chirnside Park, Lilydale, Mooroolbark and Croydon

From Monday 4 October 2021, new on-demand service FlexiRide will help residents in Chirnside Park, Lilydale, Mooroolbark and Croydon get to work, local shopping centres and transport hubs.

FlexiRide is a 12-month trial and will replace Telebus routes 1,2,3 and 4 and Route 676.

FlexiRide has no fixed route and only operates when booked. Passengers can book a trip from their nearest physical or virtual bus stop and travel to and from the designated “FlexiRide bus hubs” in the same service area.

FlexiRide Croydon

FlexiRide Croydon bus hubs are located at Croydon Station and Mooroolbark Station. The service area is shown in the below map.

FlexiRide Lilydale

FlexiRide Lilydale bus hubs are located at Chirnside Park Shopping Centre, Lilydale Station and Lilydale Shopping Precinct. The service area is shown in the below map.

FlexiRide Mooroolbark

FlexiRide Mooroolbark bus hubs are located at Chirnside Park Shopping Centre and Mooroolbark Station. The service area is shown in the below map.

FlexiRide will operate from 6am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 6pm on Saturdays. Services do not run on Sundays or public holidays.

To find your nearest stop location or book FlexiRide, call (03) 8710 6377 between 5am – 7.30pm or download the FlexiRide app from Google Play or Apple App Store. You can book up to seven days in advance. Bookings via the app can be cancelled at any time.

FlexiRide is a cashless service so make sure you top up your myki before you travel.

The off-peak Telebus service on Route 672 Croydon to Chirnside Park will be removed with this change. All services will run the fixed route path along Yarra Road. The timetable will remain unchanged.
