Timetable changes on the Cranbourne Line
More train services coming to Cranbourne
Passengers on the Cranbourne Line will benefit from more trains, more often, with 50 extra services per week from Sunday 13 February 2022.
The new timetable will see 30 peak services extended from Westall or Dandenong to Cranbourne each week, giving passengers more choice during busy times.
Another 20 daytime services will be extended to and from Cranbourne while five non-peak services will be extended to Pakenham each week.
An extra 524 services will stop at Malvern Station each week as part of the changes to give passengers more options.
These changes are thanks to work on the Cranbourne Line Upgrade, which has finished a year ahead of schedule.
The changes include 8km of new duplicated track between Dandenong and Cranbourne, eliminating bottlenecks and allowing trains to run every 10 minutes on average in the morning peak.
Check the new Cranbourne and Pakenham timetables or plan ahead using Journey planner.
