Public transport for the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show: Wednesday 26 March to Sunday 30 March 2025

The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show returns to Melbourne at the Royal Exhibition Buildings in Carlton. Public transport is your best way to enjoy it, with extra services running to help you get to and from the event.

The event will be open:

  • Wednesday 26 March, 9am to 4pm
  • Thursday 27 March, 10am to 9pm
  • Friday 28 March, 10am to 6pm
  • Saturday 29 March, 10am to 9pm
  • Sunday 30 March, 10am to 5pm

Wednesday 26 March

Tram icon Metropolitan tram

Regular and extra tram services run via Routes 30a and 86a to connect you to and from the Royal Exhibition Buildings.

From 8:30am to 2pm, extra tram services run via Route 30a and 86a between Stop D2 Central Pier and Stop 10 Parliament Station in a loop via La Trobe Street, Spring Street, Bourke Street and Spencer Streets in an anticlockwise direction.

From 2pm to 5pm, extra tram services run via Route 30a and 86a between Stop D2 Central Pier and Stop 10 Parliament Station in a loop via La Trobe Street, Spring Street, Bourke Street and Spencer Streets in a clockwise direction.

Regular train services run to and from Southern Cross, Melbourne Central and Parliament Station to connect passengers with trams running via Routes 30 and 86.

From 6pm to 10pm, extra tram services run via Route 30a and 86a between Stop D2 Central Pier and Stop 10 Parliament Station in a loop via La Trobe Street, Spring Street, Bourke Street and Spencer Streets in a clockwise direction.
