Extra services for special events

We’re running extra services for the events below events during March and April. Extra trains and trams will be scheduled to run in addition to the normal timetable. Please note that service times may differ due to traffic congestion around event venues. Please allow extra time for your journey.

MCG - Melbourne Cricket Ground
Extra trains and trams are running for the below events:
- Saturday 29 March at 1.20pm - AFL Rd 3, Melbourne v Gold Coast Suns
- Thursday 03 April at 7.30pm - AFL Rd 4, Collingwood v Carlton
- Saturday 05 April at 4.15pm - AFL Rd 4, Richmond v Brisbane Lions
- Saturday 19 April at 1.20pm - AFL Rd 6, Melbourne v Fremantle Dockers
- Monday 21 April at 3.20pm - AFL Rd 6, Geelong v Hawthorn
- Thursday 24 April at 7.30pm - AFL Rd 7, Melbourne v Richmond

Extra tram services run as Route 70a between Flinders Street and Stop 7C MCG Gates 4-7/John Cain Arena or as Route 75a between Flinders Street and Stop 11 Jolimont Station/MCG.
Extra trams running to the above events will be accessible low-floor trams, depending on availability.
