Regional tickets

You'll need either a myki, V/Line paper ticket, eTicket or bus paper ticket for your journey.

The type of ticket you need depends on where you want to travel. You may need more than one type of ticket to complete your journey.

Starting 31 March 2023 changes to regional fares will mean that no matter where you live in Victoria, it will cost you the same amount to travel. Find out more about fairer regional fares for Victoria. 

Travelling by train and coach

You’ll need either a myki or V/Line paper ticket or eTicket on V/Line train and coach services. Find out more about regional train and coach tickets.
